Let It Shine Gymnastics has Trampoline and Power Tumbling! Trampoline and tumbling is a sport that consists of four events: trampoline, double-mini trampoline, synchronized trampoline and power tumbling. Investing in Micah’s gross motor skills, watching the the mental and physical growth that happens at Summer Camp is nothing short of amazing! It has been one of the Lords greatest tools in our life and I will be forever grateful for the people, vision and ministry of Let It Shine. They have never made me feel like working with Micah’s special needs is an imposition – just the opposite – Coach Leigh Ann has come along side me to work with me every step of the way. Each child is loved on as an individual, not just another face in the crowd. LIS Summer Camp coaches are all the most sincere, caring encouragers I have ever seen under one roof. The AMAZING staff and programs at Let It Shine are in a league of their own. With all due respect to the great school and therapists that we work with during the regular school year – those 9 months can’t compare to the changes that occur in our three months at Let It Shine. Spending his first 18 months in an orphanage, one of eight babies to a crib, definitely started his life at a disadvantage mentally and physically categorizing him as a ‘special needs’ child.

Some of you might understand when I say my son is a Show Hope baby, adopted from Russia in 2006. This will be our sixth summer at Let It Shine and we look forward to May and Summer Camp literally from the day we walk out of the gym on Camps last day in August.
